Head of Procurement & Planning (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Personnel and technical management of the Purchasing and Production Planning department (currently 2 employees)
• Responsibility for the operational purchasing of electronic components with strategic development of procurement
• Joint responsibility for the procurement of mechanical components and plastic parts
• Active supplier management (evaluation, price negotiations, contract management, and maintenance of our key suppliers)
• Evaluation of new suppliers in close collaboration with the supply chain manager and stakeholders
• Help develop and implement the procurement strategy in collaboration with the Director of Supply Chain and the CEO
• Collaboration on annual planning using forecasts in consultation with the supply chain manager and stakeholders
• Ensuring efficient material flow and continuous optimization of processes

What you bring to the table:

• Completed basic technical training and leadership experience
• Further education in technical or business administration (university of applied sciences/university of applied sciences)
• At least five years of professional experience in an industrial environment with mandatory experience in technical purchasing
• Negotiation skills and in-depth knowledge of contract management
• Networked, entrepreneurial thinking and quick comprehension
• High level of personal responsibility, resilience, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• Very good knowledge of German and English
