Your responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the software development strategy in close coordination with the Director of Innovation
- Establishment, management, and further development of an interdisciplinary software development team
- Promoting a modern engineering culture with a focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Responsibility for software architecture and ensuring code quality, scalability, and security
- Prioritization and management of development projects in accordance with the product roadmap
- Active participation in selected development projects and the further development of existing software solutions
- Close collaboration with product management, hardware development, ICT, and external partners
- Observation and integration of relevant technology trends (cloud, AI, DevOps, microservices)
What you bring to the table:

- Strong problem-solving skills and technological curiosity
- Very good German and good English skills
Your professional foundation:
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, or comparable field
- Experience in a leadership role in software development
- Understanding of agile work methods and proficiency in using the relevant tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira)
- A solid understanding of modern software architectures, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Azure DevOps, microservices, container technologies)
- Advantageous: Experience with IoT/energy technologies and security requirements
